DESCRIPTION:<p><a href="https://www.carsoncity.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/87321/638324509921500000" target="_blank"><strong>Carson City Parks, Recreation &amp; Open Space Department is hosting a Public Open House for interested persons and residents to learn about and get an update on the Prison Trail Phase III - Prison Hill West Project.&nbsp;</strong></a> </p><p>Carson City Staff and representatives from the Design Team will be available to answer questions from the public.</p><p>This project includes approximately 2.4 miles of multi-use pathway, improvements to the Koontz Lane Trailhead, and a safe street crossing of Edmonds Drive at Koontz Lane.</p><p>Construction for this trail is projected to start Spring of 2024.</p><p>If you have questions, please contact Gregg Berggren, Trails Coordinator at gberggren@carsoncity.gov or 775-283-7219.</p>
