PUBLIC NOTICE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)

2026-2027 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN

In accordance with 24 CFR Part 91, Carson City is preparing its Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The Annual Action Plan is required to receive direct funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The proposed FY 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan establishes the City's funding priorities and identifies activities that may be funded through the City's CDBG allocation for the program year. The proposed projects and funding recommendations will be presented to the Carson City Board of Supervisors on June 18, 2026, for discussion and consideration. A public hearing on the proposed Annual Action Plan will be held on July 16, 2026.

Public Comment Period: The proposed Draft Annual Action Plan will be available for public review and comment for a 30-day period beginning Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Written or verbal comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026.

Public Hearing: A public hearing concerning the FY 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan will be held as follows:
