The primary function of the Treasurer's Office is the billing and collection of real property taxes and special assessments. The Treasurer's Office collects City revenues, keeps a record of the cash balance and reconciles it with the Finance Department's records on a monthly basis. In addition, the Treasurer's Office administers the City's banking relations and makes investments with the City's surplus funds. Carson City is now providing a convenient, electronic way for users to make payments for City services.
