Carson City Symphony Association's Symphony Youth Strings, Symphony Youth Chorus, and Not Quite Ready for Carnegie Hall Players (NQR) Concert will present an "Americana" concert on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William Street. Details are pending.

Symphony Youth Strings and Chorus are Carson City Symphony Association's tuition-free, after-school programs for young musicians. NQR is open to adult intermediate-level string players. These programs are supported, in part, by public funds through grants from Nevada Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts, from Carson City, and by Symphony Association memberships and private donations.
