2. Modification to the Agenda - The Carson City Hearings Officer reserves the right to take items out of order, remove an item from the agenda or delay discussion relating to an item on the agenda at any time.

4. Action Items-
Per CCMC 4.13, all liquor license requests are to be reviewed by the Hearings Officer. The Hearings Officer may grant or deny the application for a liquor license or place conditions on a license to ensure compliance with the Municipal Code. The subject request is for Homeslice LLC dba Round Table Pizza to have a Dining Room with Beer and Wine liquor license with Rachel Hobbs as the liquor manager. The restaurant is located at 3325 Retail Drive #110.The Sheriff’s office did an inspection of said location on August 27, 2021 and conducted a background check and did not find any disqualifying information based on CCMC 4.13.125. This request has been reviewed by the Health Department. The Health Department inspected the premises and is recommending approval based on the conditions included in their August 23, 2021 memo.

The subject request is for RCM 1 Investments LLC dba Capital City Liquor & Food Mart to have a package liquor license with Brij Bhushan as the liquor manager. The business is located at 1511 N Carson Street. The Sheriff’s office did an inspection of said location on August 27, 2021 and conducted a background check and did not find any disqualifying information based on CCMC 4.13.125.This request has been reviewed the Health Department. The Health Department inspected the premises and is recommending approval based on the conditions included in their August 23, 2021 memo.

** PUBLiC COMMENT: Please note that liquor hearings conducted by the Hearings Officer are NOT subject to Nevada’s Open Meeting Law requirements because an individual Hearing Officer does not constitute a “public body” as that term is defined in NRS 241.015 for purposes of Open Meeting Law compliance. However, to further the City’s policy of providing transparency in government and to encourage public participation, the Hearings Officer will provide at least two public comment periods in accordance with the Open Meeting Law prior to adjournment. In addition, it is Carson City’s aspirational goal to also provide for item-specific public comment as follows: In order for members of the public to participate in the public body’s consideration of an agenda item, the public is strongly encouraged to comment on an agenda item when called for by the Hearings Officer during the item itself.
