Storm Preparedness

Winter is approaching as are storm events. Preparedness starts BEFORE the storm. Have a plan with your family before any flood threats. Check out our Flood Preparedness page for more information on emergency kits that you can put together and have on hand for emergencies. Nevada Floods is another helpful website providing flood information. 

Prepare your home by clearing leaves and debris from drains and gutters, clear areas prone to natural drainage and ponding, and check sump pumps. 

Our self-filling sandbag station is available year-round at 3505 Butti Way, Carson City, NV 89701. It is stocked with bags and sand, just bring a shovel!
