HANK MONK (1826-1883) Legendary stage driver for J.M. Benton. Famous for the ride he gave to Horace Greeley, editor of the New York Tribune: Carson City to Placerville in 10 hours! (Plot: W1C-01-54)
MARY MARIA DAVIS (1840-1864) Wife of grocer George T. Davis. (Plot: W1A-02-28)
MATTHEW RINCKEL (1833-1879) Butcher and proprietor of the Eagle Market. Constructed the lavish Rinckel Mansion for his wife, Marcella, and children. (Plot: 3A-13-09)
CUBA ISLAND CRUTCHFIELD (1891-1969) Third cousin of Will Rogers, Cuba Crutchfield, one of the early 20th century's biggest cowboy stars, lived a near-anonymous life in Reno.
REINHOLD SADLER (1848-1906) Ninth Governor of Nevada. Signed the Glove Contest bill which allowed prize fighting in Nevada, specifically Carson City. The result of this legislation was the Corbett-Fitzsimmons fight held March 17, 1897. Born in Czarnikau, Prussia (now Czarnkow, Poland), January 10, 1948. Lieutenant Governor of Nevada, 1895-98; Governor of Nevada, 1896-1903. Died in Eureka, Eureka County, Nevada, January 30, 1906. (Plot: 1F-11-03)
PETE E. SUPERA (1921-1997) Born August 26, 1921. Ormsby County Clerk, Carson City, Nevada; Ormsby County Justice of the Peace, Carson City, Nevada. Died April 25, 1997. (Plot: 4B-03-14a)
